Student Loan Assistance

We suggest that those looking to apply for a student loan, begin doing so at least one month before your program start date. Student loans must be accepted and confirmed by registered start date.

Below is a summary of your steps in applying for a loan for a program at London School. For in depth detail on the application of your loan through StudentAidBC, please head to this page.

STEP 1: REGISTER FOR YOUR PROGRAM
Your first step is to figure out when you want to join us! We have start dates every month. If you’re not sure of which program or when the right time will be for you, call us at 604-685-4121 or use our contact form to ask us questions or even to schedule an appointment to visit our campus in person.

If you’re ready to register, head to our registry form and we’ll confirm your registration shortly.

STEP 2: REGISTER AN ACCOUNT WITH STUDENTAIDBC
Head to StudentAidBC to register your account with them. To do so, you will require your BC Services Card. Fully creating an account will require proof of your identity through a short in-office or on-app face to face confirmation.
STEP 3: START YOUR LOAN APPLICATION
After your account creation, you will login to see your dashboard. Your dashboard summarizes all of your loan applications, forms and messages.

 

Begin a loan application to any one of our full-time programs.

Tip: when searching for London School, make sure to search ‘London School Vancouver’ to find us more easily.

Fill out the application, to the best of your ability. If you are having troubles understanding this step, please feel free to contact us for in-person help.

 

Make sure you hit ‘SUBMIT‘ once you’re done. 

You may also save your application and come back to it at another date. 

STEP 4: COMPLETE OR SIGN NECESSARY DOCUMENTS
Depending on what you’ve filled in your application, you may be asked to fill in additional forms or sign additional documents. Please fill these out or have the necessary person(s) fill out the forms and submit.
STEP 5: CREATE YOUR NSLSC ACCOUNT

At some point after you’ve submitted your loan application, you will receive an email containing your MFSAA number. You will need to have this number as well as banking information from a void cheque or direct deposit form to create your NSLSC (National Student Loan Service¬† Centre) account. Any overaward of tuition will be sent to the bank provided.

STEP 6: AWAIT FOR ASSESSMENT RESULT AND CONFIRMATION OF ENROLMENT

Information on the amount your program will be funded will be in the same email or notice that you would have received along with your MFSAA number.

Make sure this amount can cover for the tuition and kit for the program you have chosen. 

If the amount that will be funded does not cover the amount for the tuition and kit of the program you’ve chosen, contact us and we can discuss other payment plans for the remaining amount not covered.
